Amy Thomas
Amy Thomas OD, FCOVD has been working with vision development since 2009. She had always struggled with the plateau that happened with her amblyopia and strabismus patients until she started to research and study the effect that mindset and emotions played on those patients. Since then, she has worked with neurochiropractors and neuropsychologists to help find more efficient tactics to help push her patients past that dreaded plateau period to allow them to have more significant and permanent results. Some of the typical obstacles that she has learned to navigate include the "I cant's" and the "I wont's". She wants more developmental optometrists to know these tactics to improve communication and success rates with their own patients.
