Sarah Lane, OD, FOVDR, FMCP

Dr. Sarah Lane is a Developmental and Holistic Optometrist specializing in vision therapy, neuro-optometric rehabilitation, and functional visual development. A graduate of Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she completed a residency at SUNY College of Optometry and earned her FOVDR and FMCP certifications. As founder of FOCUS Center for Vision and Learning, she integrates vision therapy, movement, sensory-motor development, and functional medicine principles to support patients of all ages. Dr. Lane is also the creator of Meaningful Moves, a developmental movement program for children, and BinocuFit, a web-based platform designed to support binocular vision and visual skills training through engaging digital activities.

Samantha Slotnick, OD, FAAO, FOVDR

Dr. Samantha Slotnick has a diverse background in optometry and vision research, both functional and anatomical. She completed her doctorate and Vision Therapy / Rehabilitation Residency at SUNY College of Optometry, along with advanced studies in Vision Science. She then attained Fellowship in AAO and OVDRA (COVD). Her training in visual-motor development has expanded to incorporate the impact of vision on posture, balance and gait, via “Lens-based Postural Therapy.”  Her current primary focus is her private behavioral optometry practice in Scarsdale, NY, “Mind-Body-World Optometry,” an integrative center for holistic eye and vision care, vision therapy, and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. Her team treats children “of all ages” with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach.  Her children’s book, But MOMMY, I can SEE!, helps families to understand the therapeutic use of lenses and find eye-care providers specializing in learning-related vision problems worldwide.
